The material of the paddock grids should be slightly elastic and springy in order to reduce the stress on the horses' joints, but still remain robust and resistant

The paddock grids should offer as large an open area as possible so that the footing layer can form the best possible bond with the filling and base layer material (in the case of grids with a strongly closed surface, the footing layer disappears in a short time)

And should the grating ever peek out from under the tread layer, it should also have the highest possible slip resistance
